View Full Version : Help Installing my Sirius

Hello- my first report but have been lurking for months now. I have the business cd radio on my 2002 bmw 325 ci- I know that an aux input is needed for better sound then if it is installed with the modulator. The guy at Best Buy told me that the dealer would have a "aux cable to RCA" that I can buy and he can install for a nominal price. Is that the case? If so do you know how much it costs or if I can get it anywhere else? Thanks!
BMW AUX won't work with 2002. Need to replace the head unit with one from 2003+ to get AUX. You can get an aftermarket AUX interface that plugs into the CD changer wiring. The dopes at BB should know this.

got it- called dealership and no aux going to happen unless car made after 8-02- but he could not tell me if a 2003 2004 or a 2005 radio could even be installed in my 02 325ci which would have the aux input or not- told me that if i bought it and it didnt wk it cannot be returned- really??
