Manual rear windo sunshade anyone?

Hi,

I'm thinking about having the rear sunshade installed. (The factory one with p/n: 51-46-9-416-393). Anybody tried to install it by yourself before? I've read through the instructions and it basically requires you to remove everything at the back of the car in order to gain access to remove the rear deck :confused: c-pillar trim, various plastic trims, and the whole rear seat :yikes: ). Any inputs? Or are there DIY instuctions available somewhere? Thanks for the help. :thumbup:

Check with JonM. He installed the rear windown sunshade a few years ago on a E46 coupe, he might be able to share some pointers.

No DIY exist that I know of.

Theres some good info on e46fanatics that I posted. Not exactly a DIY, but its the info Ive been able to come up with. I have this damn thing in my office here. Havent installed it. If you guys end up doing an install please post pics and how you did it!:thumbup:
