Does anyone have a Sprint cell phone that they have used with complete success/compatibility with BlueTooth?

I understand that there a number of things that you can do with the factory BlueTooth, but that some cell phones don't do everything. I'm going to a lot of trouble to get the factory BlueTooth installed, and I want to make sure I can do everything! If I can't do it with Spring, my current carrier, I'll switch, but I wanted to try.

Thanks for any insights.

The T608 works well with the ULF modules since version 387
The LG PM325 works well but no address book support
The Treo 650 is supported with the later ULF modules with the following caveot: The Treo 650 is compatible after updating it with software version 1.12. Download this update to your PC at http://www.palmone.com/us/support/sprintup05/ and then hot sync to your Treo 650. Update support is also provided at Sprint retail stores. Only phone numbers stored as Speed Dial entries will be accessible from your BMW. Your BMW will not be able to access phone numbers stored as Contacts in your PalmOne Treo 650.

I was told the Samsung A900 works great, but the darn thing is out of stock everywhere
The other Samsung MM something I am told works as well.

BMW has an updated list here, but it is not that updated... http://www.bmwtransact.com/bluetooth/Compatible_Phones.htm

Thanks much. I definitely want the address book support, so the LG phone is out. And the Treo is just too big a phone for me, since I don't need/want a PDA. I'll take a look at the A900 and other other Samsung phones. Thanks for the suggestions.

Anybody else have a Sprint phone that is completely compatible with all the BT functions?

Here is the process to Pair the Samsung A900 with the 387 or 522 ULF module. The 552 old version does not seem to work this way.

First update the software in the phone using the menu item update software

Set the ULF in pairing mode. for details see www.bimmernav.com/btfunction.html
In the a900 goto contacts
In each individual contact, choose the command to send contact via Bluetooth
After every contact is manually sent, the ULF module will display them on your instrument cluster, navigation screen or radio

I know this sucks, but SPRINT/SAMSUNG failed to put an option for send ALL contacts within the phone. Hopefully in the next software release they will get it fixed
