As some have you may have noticed in my other thread, I'm having a lot of difficulty making my V3 RAZR work with my E90's Bluetooth.

T-Mobile have offered me another phone - but I need to know which ones from the current lineup work flawlessly with the BMW bluetooth.

Here are my choices:

Motorola V360:

Blackberry 7105t:

Motorola PEBL:

Samsung T809:

Blackberry 7290:

I've looked on BMW's site and all the phones listed as compatible are no longer offered by T-mobile, with the exception of the RAZR, which does not work for me (call waiting issue - see my other thread).

Thanks for your help :)

Motorola V330i works very nicely. Although it is not on your list of choices I see.

I believe its the same as the V360, the V360 is just a newer version.

Blackberry's with OS v4.1 or higher for all functionalities ( calls and phone book). T-mobile is still at a lower version and hence calls can be placed/recieved, but no phone book visibility. BTW, I read in Dec 2005 somewhere on the net that BMW is going to bypass any RIM patent infringement legal woes by offering BlackBerry address book pairing only on Canadian-spec BMW models, however, other markets, including the United States, are expect to follow shortly. No furthur development yet.

I have T-mobile and I use the V600 and can see the phone book both names and numbers using the R/T button on my steering wheel.

Buy an unlocked version of a Motorola triplet. V3xx, V5xx, V6xx. I bought an unlocked V540 from fleabay for less than $150. Works flawlessly with the Bimmer. Because it is unlocked you can use it with any provider.
