Hi, i have lowered my E36 to 2" (50mm) and my ride is a bit bumpy i think my stock shocks dont work properly with the new suspension hight. Now i was wondering if what struts & shocks would i get (don't need an expensive one) i have "Monroe GT Gas" in my mind but not sure if they are good for a lowered suspension?

well the idea of lowering suspension is using stiffer springs so your cars suspension doesnt travel as much, making it so your tires are 2 inches closer to your wheel well but the suspension wont travel enough to let them hit, therefore your stiffer lowering springs might be stiff enough to make your ride bumpy

Yes point taken, i know what a bumpy stiff compaired to a sports stiff fells like so thats why i'm pointing out on shocks & struts.:yikes:

Problem is you lowered your Ride without using Matching Springs and Shocks. Now they are mismatched...

Yes, I lowered my car for $200 on a custom Z3 sport springs how's that sounds? By throwing another $500 for a decent Struts & Shocks that should have been replaced months ago (150,000 miles) it would be a cheaper sport ride.
