Today my 95 318i started to have some trouble getting in gear when starting off. It was fine when I started the car and took off, but after about 20-30 minutes of driving first gear wasn't engaging properly when leaving a stop sign or light. The problem also occured when taking very low speed turns. The auto transmission light hasn't come on, so I'm hoping it might just be low on tranny fluid. Anybody have any suggestions besides checking fluid level?
