Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement brake light for my M3 factory wing. It is a one piece sealed plastic unit. Is this an aftermarket unit or is it OE from BMW? thanks

Stoplamp, rear spoiler 63 25 2 258 769 up to 9/95 cedes to 63 25 2 489 862.
Either one suggested retail is $75.25.

When I bring up the 63 25 2 489 862 light, it is slightly different than the one I need. I can't seem to find the other number. The 63 25 2 489 862 light, looks square on all corners as it fits into the wing. My brake light has rounded corners at top and wraps under the wing. The other one looks like it might fit into the wing and visible only from the back, hard to tell from pictures I've seen. Could there be a difference between the '95 and '96 wings making the brake lights slightly different on each? thanks

The two parts I mentioned are interchangeable. Do you have any pics?

My wing looks like the one displayed in the picture above except the light is slightly different. Looking at mine you don't see a portion of the wing under the light forming the edge. My light curves under forming the edge and mounts with 3 screws up into the wing.

Is the wing a BMW part?

It was on the car when I bought it. It looks the same as other factory M3 wings I have seen. Not sure how else to verify that it is. How many model years did BMW produce these wings?

It's new to me. Only ones I can find on the NA/Euro parts data are the motorsport and GT one

as per your pictures, that is not a BMW wing.
