Out of curiousity, does Cutter sell to Canadian buyers? If so what kind of extra work is there to look at? Import duties, taxes etc etc....

Hey, what about importing something from Germany, especially from Aachen ? :dunno: :D

It's probably cheaper to buy it here, plus no warranty issues.

If you're going to import, do it from Germany. :p Then you can get a diesel. :)

That's an interesting idea too. I wonder if they do E.D. in Aachen?
Alex?

Hey Clem,
The only experience that I have with Canada was waay
baack in 1991 when I sold a Honda Accord to a guy who was
moving to Canada... I saw him about a year and a half
after he bought the car, and he told me that if he had to
do the whole thing over again, he'd just buy the car up
there in the Great White North...
He spent literally thousands and thousands just trying
to retrofit lighting, gauges, and other miscellaneous
items...
Maybe things are different now?

Good points. Interesting thing is that US BMWs have dual instrumentation (MPHand KPH) while Canadian cars have KPH only. I wonder if the powers that be in Munich didn't think that Canadians would drive to the US. (Something which I may be doing next year :D )
Maybe Herr Baumann is correct in suggesting I try to do E.D. in Aachen ;)
