First off, trading 530 for 540 or ///M5 is not an option... I like my 530's handling and nimbleness too much...
Suppose you are going to spend ~$6000 (parts and labor included) to supercharge your car... eg. E39 530i inline 6...
Just trying to imagine what the ~88 HP/~34 Torque gain ON THE GROUND would feel like...
Is that gain really worth it? Will i really feel them, i.e. feel the ~$68/HP gain...
At the rear wheel,
* Stock BMW M54 Engine: 202 HP and 205 Lb. Ft. Torque.
* VF Supercharged Engine: 290 HP and 239 Lb. Ft. Torque (6.0 PSI).
Thus 44% more power and 17% more torque.
