trade/sell for '06 M3 or 330Ci with 6speed...help

Ok so I own a:

2006 330Ci(basic)
-Black Sapphire Metallic
-Black w/Leather Upholstery
-Myrtle Wood Trim
-STEPTRONIC Automatic Transmission
-Xenon low-beam and high-beam headlights with auto-leveling and Adaptive headlights
-BMW Assist with Bluetooth Wireless Technology
-Premium Package
-Cold Weather Package

If I were to say trade it in or sell it for a 2006 M3 or 2006 330Ci 6speed what would the numbers be? (price, value, how much i would lose?)

Try edmunds or kbb to estimate your trade-in value.

Best way is to stop by some dealers to get an exact appraisal if you want to trade in.

I would say get the M3.

In order to stop the bleeding after you make this move, I suggest a couple things

#1 If you are not getting the M3, then do ED which will save you 3-5 grand after negotiation from a car you order or buy off the lot.

#2 If you lease you can save money on taxes being paid on the entire vehicle all upfront AGAIN on a purchase.

I would spend a few weeks trying to sell your car privately before taking the plunge on a trade. Typically, on a 330 the delaer will give you 4 - 6K less than you can get in a private sale because they know you are saving sales tax and they make it more convenient.

Just in case you are interested... I am considering selling a 2005 M3 6-speed manual. Considering buying a 650 next month. I do not have a price for the M3 yet- but let me know if you are interewsted. Gray/Silver/Gray 20,000miles. cmurman@aol.com
