Does anyone know what phones we can use with our car? Will a Treo phone work?

We had to get a "BMW" labeled V60 for full functionality - something that others have agreed with. Our's is an '04 and later models may have more options.

I have a Verizon Treo 650. Once I upgraded the 2006 750 BMW software to version 19.2, it Bluetooths to the phone fine. Note, however, that it only stores the numbers in your favorites.

this is a very conservative, "BMW officially approved" list. there are a lot of other phones which work and work well. for example, my 6230 (and any 6230i) will work. in fact, there is a cradle for 6230/6230i giving you improved reception and charging the phone while in the car.

i also find BMW UK to have a much better list of bluetooth phone that will work (since bluetooth software used in europe and in USA is the same):
