1990 750 help

Just bought a 1990 750 from a police aucion. It wont start...will crank, but no fuel. It will start if I spray carb cleaner in the intake.

Did some searching and found that there is a code that could disable the engine?? It says CODE on the display beside the stereo. Is this what is keeping the car from starting??? If so how do I reset the code. I have no idea what the code is.

If this is not it is there a fuel cutoff switch somewhere. I checked the fuses, and one for the fuel pump was blown, replaced it, but it still wont start.

Ok I have power at the fuse for each pump. I pulled the hose from the intake, and no fuel when I crank. So it must be the pump or a pump cut off switch. Any help??

Well then can anybody tell me if the computer resets its self after the battery is disconnected??

disconnect battery for 10 minutes and hook it up again. if im not wrong, the code will appear for a few minutes and u will be able to start.
