Hi,
I'm looking at buying some aftermarket rims and tires for my 2006 330i (E90), and I'm trying to figure out the offsets, and whether or not I need spacers.
I have the non-sports package 330, with 17 inch rims as standard. I'm upgrading to an 18"x8.5" rim with a 40mm offset. I'm doing a non-staggered set up so I can rotate my tires.
My question is what kind of spacers I need for the rear. I want to make sure there is no rubbing. I was thinking that 10mm will be enough to avoid the tucked in look without any risk of rubbing, or should I go for 15mm? Would it be any different if I go for 19's instead of 18s?
Do I also need spacers on the fronts or will the 40mm offset be OK with no risk of rubbing?
Thanks in advance for your help.
