You know that it doesn't have 240 wheel right? It's got about 200 at the wheels, same for torque. btw, how are those cam gears coming along...

well... i thought i could put cam gears on it was because my friend put them on his M5. he got like 40 WHP from them so i wanted to put them on my M3. and i researched it a little bit, and it turns out that you can only put cam gears on non-vanos bimmers. and his is non vanos. so i cant really put them on my M3.

200 WHP?? then why is the car so ****en fast?

i had 230 WHP in my Integra @ 5 PSI and my M3 is faster then that

Cam gears don't add power they just move it around in the RPM range. The cam gear on an E30 M3 (basically same motor as the E28/E34 M5 minus 2 cylinders) makes the torque curve move down 1000 RPMs. It doesn't increase anything (you need a cam change to add anything).

okay... the motor produces 240 brake horse power, it then must spin the flywheel, tranmission componetnts, drive shaft, final drive, and wheels. After it does all that you've got about 200whp. Energy+Work= less energy. Why is the m3 faster than your old honda, even though it has less power. Well, maybe you went to a magic dyno where you got 230whp, maybe it's just perception, maybe it's gearing and having an lsd? who knows...

Hey man, lovin' the gunmetal rims on it, car looks mean, good luck with future mods. You ever think about blacking out the front grilles?

no it wasnt a magic dyno. it was a dynojet. and it was dynoed at 354.4 WHP.

i know the physics of it all. i know that 98% of companies rate thier cars horsepower from the flywheel. the reason i was pointing it out was because i was told that BMW rates thier cars horsepower from the wheels.

and my integra also had an LSD

I don't know any company that rates power at the wheels....the crank HP is always higher dso they alway s want to advertise the highest number.

Is this the same guy that told you to do cam gears on an E36 M3? Sounds like you need a frined that has a clue...he obviously doesn't have one.
