Stability Sensor

I have 2003 330i and have stabilty sensor equipped.
Today i had gone for alignment to firestone tires and they told me that the sensor is broken and need to be fixed and i don't want to get it fixed by them as i still have warranty for my car.
Can anyone suggest me should i go to dealer right away or i wait for my next service.
and i aslo want to know about oil change of my BMW because according to the dealer it need oil change after around 13000 miles, is it right but its hard to beleive

Do a search on oil change. LOTS of threads about the interval.

What stability sensor???? Never heard of such a thing. Zenon adjuster, ABS sensor, brake wear sensor, but that is about it ont e suspension
