For the exterior (I read on the other one you didn't want to put too much $$ that could be put into performance): 1. Red/White OE Tail lights and 2. Clear or Smoked Corners

For performance: UUC or Supersprint exhaust, read nothing but good things about the two of them, you mentioned Remus, I've read mixed reviews about it. Looks like you have some sort of intake in there, if you were looking to upgrade, maybe Cosmos or DINAN (Dinan's good for everything, but very $$), I've heard all good about the TMS chip, the best bang for your buck, and maybe even look into a LSD...

I like the car, that color's nice, car looks like it's been well-kept for 12 years. How is it in the snow with the low profile summer tires?

thanks for the advice, and the tires actually do pretty well, it is certainly better in the snow than my 2wd pickup

I second the clears or smoked. In addition, you may want to get M3 mirrors and some sort of lip, for that aggressive look. Other than that, it looks great/clean. BTW...what wheels are those?

They are Armano Dunamis (http://www.thewheelconnection.com/php/showwheel.php?name=Dunamis&brand=Armano&brandsearch=1) , I'm still mixed on my opinions of them, were on there when I got the car.

Kind of agree with you there, they look kinda "blingy" but you can get away with most 5 spokes on an e36. Thats good that the tires aren't too bad in the snow, I know my snow tires make a huge difference in the snow from my summer tires.

What I might just do is sell them and use the money to upgrade the exhaust. After doing a little research I've decided to go with an AA Gen 3 system(http://activeautowerke.com/exhaust/e36g3/main.php), by far has the nicest sound of any I have heard online (http://www.europeancarweb.com/tech/0301ec_techbmw/)
