Just a heads up for those of you who use ATE Super Blue brake fluid or the ATE series (i.e. Typ 200 and Super Blue) and switch between colors every other bleeding, ATE is discontinuing the Super Blue version. However, ATE will continue to offer the Typ 200 so stock up on the Super Blue if you like it.

P.S. I prefer Motul anyways :D

:( why?

is motul 600 compatible with what's in my car now (ATE Type200/SuperBlueRacing)? i think it's a lot more expensive, isn't it? that's what i liked about the ATE-- reasonable price...

Yes it is compatible.

I can't recall exactly how much I paid for the Motul but it wasn't that much more (maybe a dollar or two).

I have heard it is a much better performing fluid....besides, if it is what the motorcycles use, that's a good enough endorsement for me.

Actually it is quite a bit more. I believe the ATE stuff comes in 1 liter bottles which usually runs the same as a bottle of Motul 600, but the Motul comes in 0.5 liter bottles.

I went through this when a bunch of bike friends "discovered" ATE.
No thanks, I'll stick with my Motul.

Anyone have the numbers for the stock BMW fluid?
