Hello people...Just bought a 2001 m5 last week. Should appear at my doorstep on March 3rd. The quandry I had/have reading reviews is that apperance wise it looks to much like a regular E39. Upgrades I found at beastpower.com (rear diffuser/ side skirts/roof spoiler etc).. Are this things A.worth the extra dough; B. make that big of a difference in vehicle apperance. I realize that these are personal choices people make but would like some input from people who have upgraded their M5's. Also considered adding the S1 M5 package offered by Dinan with the lightweight wheels. Thanks

Congrats on your recent purchase......and welcome to the 'Fest. Anything DINAN is always a good choice, I'm looking to get a S2 E39 M5 myself in the upcoming months. As for exterior mods, I feel as though it's all relative. If "you" as the owner truely and honestly wants to distinguish your M5 from others, that I do suggest exterior mods to "further" enhance an already excellent automobile.
P.S.-Make sure to post pics when you get it.
