Hi Jon,

I'm new to this forum and have a quick question for you (if you don't mind). I'm interested in purchasing a 2003 530 with sport package. The thing is, I really like the sport package that is offered with the 540 (aero pkg and such).

Due to the fact that I can't afford a 540, is it even possible for a dealer to just order the 540 sport package parts(aero pkg, m footrest, exhaust) and install it themselves?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi TAG,

The only thing that you can hope to do is
"piece it together" through your parts department...

:dunno:

Your best option may be to have that sort of thing done at a body shop.

Buy the 530, buy the parts, then have the body shop paint them and switch for you.

Well, I didn't think it would be possible. I guess I'll have to resort to my back up plan.

Purchase the 530 with SP and go the aftermarket route. I hear Evosport and Bav Auto offer the M-technik kit in pieces. I hope these are genuine BMW M-technik parts though and not replicas.
