This needs to happen. Buy Frank out totally and go head to head factory to factory with the red cars. Then we'd have some competition.

You can't just replace xxx years of chasis development experience though. I thought what really is hurting Williams right now is losing their aerodynamics specialist to McLaren a few years ago.

Time to fork over the bill bills and steal a few engineers from the big red machine if you ask me.

You might be right about losing some people in an ownership transition but I guess I was wishfully thinking that the extra funds BMWAG might throw at the problem could get the right talent.:dunno:

You might be right. If you read the recent articles on Patrick Head, he's described as a great Mechanical Engineer, but not such a good aerodynamicist. Adrian Newey was the aero guy...he's at McLaren. BMW probably doesn't have people knowledgeable in F1 carbon fiber chassis design either.
