Puddles on rear floorboards

Greetings,

We have a brand new 2006 750li. No problems until rainy season. Last weekend, we noticed the rear mats were soaked. Upon further review, we saw that there was significant water (uh, puddles) on the rear floorboards. Dropped the car off at the dealer and they are working on it - they had to remove all of the carpets and seats. Needless to say, I am concerned with the diminution in value in the car.

Has any had this problem? If so, how was it handled? Help!:mad:

No but i got a idea probably! Get like 2 bath towels. Fold them in half. Then place two on each side:)

tell the dealer to buy the spongey car back from you in good faith. A good dealership would do this. They conservatively depreciate the value of your current car and sell you another 2006 750 for the difference in price. Sucks that you probably have to dish out some more money, but then you wont have a sponge for a car.

Claim it as flood damaged, or have BMWNA buy it back since it's not supposed to leak.
