View Full Version : Just bought this beauty !!
I just bought this beauty which is now in Cali and will hopefully be in my hands in a couple of weeks ...
It's a 2003 Boxster (not an 's') with around 23k miles ...

 Alan, are you selling something to make room for it.
When I look at those pictures I think one side is higher than the other:p

LOL ... I was going to sell the Mazda 6 but I just got some sellers remorse so maybe I'll keep it :dunno: ...

Hmmm, can you return it? IMO Boxsters are Porsches with panies.

Besides the fact you are way off with this remark what is the purpose of saying this ? ?
I would NEVER post a message like that ... even if someone posted a picture of a 10 yr old hyundai they just got ... my first words would be ... congrats and enjoy your new ride ...

I must like "panies" because I'd sure be happy to have a Boxster. Congratulations AF. That car looks sweet. I bet it's a blast to drive.

The owner seemed to back off ... I am sure he had sellers remorse ... meanwhile this car looked good and I always wanted the boxster so I grabbed it.
Like I said on the 'other board' I know I will own an NSX, a Boxster and a number of other cars I lust after ... it's just a matter of in which order I will have them that I don't know ...

Cool ... thanks
Nice. Seal Gray? I can't tell exactly from the pics... does that car have "Full Leather"? Instrument cowling looks stitched from your pics.
Hey Alan, how are you! I know that shop, we always eat Pizza across the street from that... They always have some nice cars... Hope you enjoy that boxter...;)
Let me know if you want me to take it for a test drive along PCH... :p

Alan, you now officially suck. ;)
(I'm sure the Audi is nice and everything, but a Boxster is a car I'd really like to own)

Agreed. His suckage factor went way up.
 Nice ride. I have always liked the Boxsters.
Congrats Alan--nice ride!!
Truth be told, put me in the camp that initially thought Boxsters were for p*ssies and wanna-be's. And then I drove one. What an awesome blend of performance and balance. The most fun I've ever had driving any car. Took a Boxster S to some of the twisties back in Great Falls around Rt 7 and the car is so perfectly poised and balanced, it's unreal.
I've driven a 911 (Ryan's) before, and while the car obviously has more hp, isn't nearly as well balanced as the Boxster, which, IMHO, made it less fun/desirable.
Haven't driven a Caimen (Caymen?) yet, as I think I'd prefer to forgoe a few HP in order to keep the drop-top.
Drive it safely and in good health!
