Is it always required? Even for repeat customers... Four leases in a two year period.

They waive the "mandatory" security deposit, but you still have to pay the acquisition fee.

DrBimmer is (for the most part) correct; there is a "security
deposit waiver" program. General Sales Managers of BMW
Centers have been known to get their acquisition fees waived
too...
