my 325i is shaking real bad in the steering when going around curves at high speeds. i was told it was TIE ROD ENDS. anyone agree? how much should these cost for a 95 325i? is there more than one per side?

It's probably the muffler bearing. Those will go out at about 60k, I've had to replace mine twice. My advice is, don't get the OEM one, there's a good aftermarket unit made by NEWB. They make some really great stuff, here's their site NEWB

did have bent rims -- have new rims now -- only shaking around turns at high speeds not shaking any other time:confused:
