Battery keeps dyin in M5

my brother in law got a 2001 M5 and his battery keeps dying. put new batter and altenator in. still keeps dying. has anyone here had this problem? or may know what causin it? we installed a denision ice link and since then have removed thinkin it was the cause, plugged the factory cd changer back. the battery died again within 5 mins. thanks for the help..

you may have a eletrical short somewhere, trace back your step, the last things you did. electrical problems are a hit or miss troubleshoot. good luck!

I have the same issue and its been traced to the phone module.
