Yo guys,
It's 1:00am and Birth of a Sports Car is on Speed Channel right now. For those of you who haven't seen it it's the story of the E63/64 bmw from just a twinkle in Chris Bangle's eye to the assembly line.

Yep, I captured on DVD. Will be recording all three episodes for later distribution for those that cannot get speed channel. We've done this before but not all were recorded at good quality.

2nd episode is the best in my opinion.
Prototype testing in Death Valley, winter roads in Germany, ice lakes.

You think so?:dunno: I liked it, really interesting seeing how the design process worked. What did you guys think of the segment in which the design engineers were deciding on a hard top convertible or fabric top? I honestly yelled out loud "hard top you diks!"
