Hi everyone. I recently purchased a XM Radio and i would like for it to turn on when i turn on the ignition. I hardwired a radar detector to the dome light so i thought i would do the same with the radio. I decided to hardwire it to the OBC because i wanted to mount it down where the shifter is so it wasnt in the way. After doing this i realized that the OBC is always on which is why when you push the HR/DATE button it lights up and tells the time. Stupid me. Anybody know where i could hardwire it to behind the OBC??? There is another group of wires back there but i dont know where they go or what they do. Thanks

just tap into the cigar lighter..and then you wont have to worry about messing up the OBC

The cigar lighter has constent power also doesnt matter. i want the radio to go on and off with ignition.

then pull your radio out and tap into that. much safer bet then messing with the OBC wires. IMO
