Anyone from local GTA going to this? I received my invitation 2 weeks ago, should be cool. Since I'm picking up my new X3 3.0i this Saturday, now I have a chance to test the limits of an X3 on a closed course...

I knew nothing about it, but probably since I wasn't aware of the BMW Club of Cda. Is this the one located at BMWclub.ca?

Besides events such as this, are their other benefits to being a member?

Actually I'm not a member of any BMW club, this invitation was directly from BMW Canada. Guess being a BMW owner has its benefits

Interesting - I own 2, but neither has x-drive - perhaps that's why you received the invite and I didn't.

I went to the xDrive Comparasion here in Edmonton last Saturday and it was AWESOME! Becareful with the Lexus RX350! It's a real POS! You'll see what I mean! As for benefits of joining the club, I spent $60 for a yearly membership and have probably saved an easy $350 in parts for my car. With your membership you get discounts at lots of places. Here you get a discount on parts and service at both BMW Dealers. When you join a local club you automaticlly join the BMWCCA. Your local club is the Trillium Chapter. They are a good club too, very large compared to us. Check them out.

There web adress is http://www.trillium-bmwclub.ca/site/home.jsp
