Had a terrific experiece...hope you did as well. Silly question, though...
I was told by sales that ED cars all include floor mats. Not a huge deal. They were right. However, what I got was fromage. They were basic, with no BMW logo, and pretty thin. Expected a little more.
Did you guys receive the same, and did your end-delivery dealership provide the standard ones?
Just curious. As you can tell, running through all types of scenarios about my car as I wait!
Best,
Lansing

Lansing, I got the same lame ones as you've described, and no, my dealer did not replace them with standard logo mats. I bought some rubber ones for winter and ordered some UUC mats for the rest of the time.

Hey Lansing -- glad you had a good time. I got the same plain one as you described from ED (the ones with screws), and after I got back I mentioned it to the dealer and they threw in a new set with the BMW logo when my car got stateside (of course, I had in the meantime recommended a co-worker to my salesguy who ended up buying from him, so he may feel compelled to be nice). So, talk to your dealer and they may feel like being nice -- but I don't think it's standard procedure to throw in another set.
For what it's worth, I like the ones with the BMW logo better but only because they had the velcro system instead of the screws (easier to put on the rubber mats -- need those for the sand interior), but in terms of thickness I thought the ones from ED was better (based on a quick two second comparison and nothing in depth). Hope this helps.
