I am trying to change out these o2 sensors in my 528i 1998. I would like to know and find out how to do this myself. I need pics sent to me and also where can I buy some good ones not so pricey. I had the odb checked and ct. emissions comes up. I did have this reset many times now it it popping up every 5-20 miles. Maybe I got some bad gas/Hmmm Thanks all

Very helpful threads here. Just joined up a part of my research on a new BMW. I currently have a 1998 740i and a 2000 528iT. I just oredered a 2008 Smart car (I know, I Know--more later) and am thinking about selling the 528 and 740 and buying a 2008 5x5xi wagon thru eourpean delivery.
My rationale for the Smart car. (1) i live less than 1 mile from the job and carpool with the wife. Her office is 2 blocks from mine. Had to replace the 740's battery which was less than 18months old because I "don't put enough miles on it". The didn't want to cover it under warrenty but relented if I would purchase a trickel charger. (2) I hate the look of most of the hybreds and the Smart Car is just quirky enought looking to appeal, plus there arn't many yet in the US. (3) Live in a "downtown city" (Seattle) and parking is always a challenge and once downtown everbody walks anyway.
My rationale for the 535xi..........uh I uh maybe ..because... well... can't live without at least one bimmer.. There is one good reason, I must have a wagon to carry the occasional new furnature purchase, the new grill from Costco or carrying the bocce equipment to the local tournament site.
A couple of questions;
Do you talk about pricing and deals here! If so, it is not immediately obivous where.
I picked up the wholesale/retail pricing sheet--very helpful.
Browsed the ED thread, also very helpful.
How are you supported? Does BMW provide support?
Thanks.:thumbup:
