Hi Jon!
You've been to Norway?
Or are you from Norge, du skriver det bra hvertfall!
Well, i've been to you're country too, in fact, i've been in "you're" city as well.
Satt og koste meg med en Corona på et av hotellene langs stranda der, nice!
:D
I have several pics of my bimmer, but my pics are to big.
I'll update it soon!

Yes, I have been to Norway many, many times. In fact, I got married to a Norwegian girl there... :) Even more important, I will be in Norway in less than 2 months. I keep hearing and reading about all of the crazy Norwegian Bimmers on the Internet (e.g. E30 3 Series with 12-cyl. 750 engines in them). Are most of these guys around Oslo, or in the countryside? I want to meet some of these BMW owners and practice my Norwegian! I'll be in a town just outside of Kongsberg...
Gratulerer med bilen Lasse!

Welcome to Bimmerfest! Where in Norway are you located?
I have been to Norway one time, in 2005, as part of my European Delivery vacation. My son was my tour guide. He was previously an exchange student in Bergen, and speaks Norwegian fluently. I found Norway to be breathtakingly beautiful and the people very friendly, and I want to return for another visit.
If you are not already a member, consider joining BMW Car Club, Norway. I have met several Norwegian BMW drivers at the annual BMW Club Driver's School at the Nurburgring. They are very friendly and very good drivers, also! There were about 9 or 10 Norwegian BMW drivers there last year.
Here is a pic from my vacation. You can probably tell where it was taken.

Thanks man!
You've got good taste mate, Norvegian girls are really nice!
Yes, there are several crazy Bimmers in Norway, and i guess the reputation are going ahead of ourselves.
:)
I know of several E30 with V12 in them, and also a lot of guys are putting in 3.6 and 3.8 liter S engines in them, and putting turbo's in them.
One guy drives a E34 with a insane engine.
BMW M5 E34 3,8 - 1129hk / 1130nm. And that's the old specs, now he's got even more power in this car.

These guys are in the countryside around Oslo, one guy i think is in my hometown in fact.
Not far from Kongsberg at all, i live i guess a hour and a half tops from Kongsberg.

Thanks man, an engine pics?
It's not something to brag about, but let's see what i can do, hopefully, my car, is going to be the "car of the month" on a Norvegian bimmer site, so i'll provide you guys with a link with plenty of pics.
Welcome to Bimmerfest! Where in Norway are you located?
I'm living in a town called Porsgrunn, an hour and a half or so from the capitol of Norway - Oslo.
It's close to the Ocean.
Bergen is great, lot's of gorgeous nature and fjords there, and yes, i know where you've taken that pics - great isn't it?
And yes, i'm a member of BMWCCN, but not that active, my hands are full at this stage.
:p
I would LOVE to see more pics of your E90. Great color.
Thanks mate, i think the E90 looked great in this colour, i bought the car there and then.

Sure thing Jon.
No problem!
But what do you wanna see, is there anything in particular you'd like?
Old bimmer's or just power bimmers?
:D
Regards Lasse.

Any interesting BMWs at all, really... I'll bring a bunch of Bimmerfest stickers for the guys...
Would love to meet the gang, and take pictures of their cars. I'm going to be staying between
Kongsberg and Lampeland in a tiny town called Svene. Maybe we could have a little get-
together/"Mini-Bimmerfest"...
:)
