Hi all,

I joined almost one month ago. Used to browse Edmunds forum (still do), but really like this one now since it's more focused on a certain model (E39 is my current baby)

My first bimmer was a 2001 330i, enjoyed it very much for two years, then exchanged it for a minivan. I have been struggling for 8 months thereafter since my wife who was supposed to be the minivan driver refused to drive and I ended up with driving it daily.

Eventually I could not stand the pain, and trade the van for a 2003 530i two weeks ago. Big grin on my face again every time I sit behind the wheel:D

Welcome to The 'Fest 330blast. I once made the same mistake (thought I had to get rid of my Bimmer, and went without one for a while); I'll never do that again!! :)

Glad to have you here. Please post some pics of your E39. Blue Water is a rare color -- one of my personal favorites!

What a change for the better, huh? Everytime I visit my mother in CA, I have to leave my car behind because I usually fly (its easier). I either get stuck with a GM rental or her 89 ford van. I choose a rental over that thing anyday, and makes me appreciate my car even more when Im gone! :D
