i think i like the e46 m3 more... this one is kinda boaty. whats up with the tail lights??? I prefer the e90's diamond ones. kind of disappointing. good thing the z4 M is out.

The details which make it look "m worthy" haven't been applied: front and rear apron, side skirts, wheels and gills.

It's definitely not blowing my skirt up. Where's the aggressiveness? I may be wrong, but I can't imagine that the (still covered) "power dome" on the hood and the front/rear bumpers are going to make this thing look as badazz as the E46 M3.:dunno:

It's a bit uninspired as it is in the pictures posted. I see potential. I guess we have to wait until it gets the M-package bolted on :dunno:.

yup very close indeed, Awesome look, I'll wait, you never want to get the
first production anyway... grrrr
lets see for colors, will they keep the contraversial LSB, Phoenix Yellow, or Interlago Blue
or will the Tiag with Black Interior still be the top M3 color?

EXACTLY! And to all who believe the current model will nosedive in resale value......stick around.....sure they will dive and then go back up again.....once folk understand what the E46 was all about. Has anyone checked prices recently on 2001 740i M/Sport Package vehicles with low mileage? The 335i car will hit ebay and the lots well over retail as all other new high visiblity vehicles have in the past........popular culture....you pay the price...

I am going to reserve judgement on this until something official, but to say I am underwhelmed would be a serious understatement. The thing looks like a Pontiac GTO to me.

Maybe that's the "euro" spec car. Hopefully they'll make it look a bit more aggressive for US spec!

I have no idea why BMW decided to with a totaly different body style with the coupe than the sedan. They you use to maintain the rear headlights throughout all the series. The sedan E90 rear design looks much better, the lights etc.Why didn`t they just make a coupe of the sedan i don`t know.
