The slush box in my touring is toast. The fluid is black. While in the long term I plan on doing a 5-speed conversion in the short term I am going to slap in a new auto box. The one I have now is the GM 310R box. Is there any problem using other E34 auto boxes? Or does it have to be the exact same? Also does anyone know if the bell housing pattern is the for different engines? I.e can I use a trans that was behind the 3.0L V-8?
