I just received a quote from a sound system dealer who does alot of work for the local BMW dealer in Miami. I have a 2001 325ci and plan to keep it a while longer. The rear speakers are blown and I love to listen to clear crisp sounding music. I was quoted $1,250 for a full installation of the following:
Zap 450 Iforce
MBquarts: dsd213 and dke113
JL Audio sub: 12w1v24
Ipod hook -up
Is this a fair rate? It seems that through my research the parts are good, but are priced at around $650 for the total. If someone could help me here, I would appreciate it. My first impression is that I might need to look somewhere else than this sound dealer to get this done. Thanks a bunch for the help!
