window drop down?

do the Mini windows drop down when the doors open like in the 3series coupes?

I don't know how the 3 series does it, but the windows drop about 1/4" when you open them to allow extra clearance between the glass and the gutter.

To be honest, this scares me just a tad bit. Especially considering I've already had one window motor go out.
