I need new tires for my '03 325Ci with Sports Package. I want all-seasons and I am considering the following:

Michelin Pilot Exalto AS

Bridgeline Potenza RE960AS Pole Position

I realize the Bridgestones are W rated and the Pilots are H - I don't really care about that. I care about handling and road noise.

Any experiences with these two tires? Advice?

The RE960 has faster steering response and better handling, while the Exalto A/S is a bit softer riding and quieter with better snow traction and treadwear.

Thanks for the information Gary.

Looks like I just missed $100 off Bridgestone if I had ordered a set of four tires before June 3.

How frequently do tire manufacturers make such rebate offers? In the case of Bridgestone, one a year? Basically, I am trying to decide if I should wait to save the $100.

Also, would you recommend that I look at any other tire?

The rebates have been unpredictable and inconsistant both in frequency and in value. Sometimes they aren't even rebates, but are offers for some trinkets such as road side emergency kits or one I remember as a B&W TV/lantern combo (both were pretty lame IMO).
