my friends car ticks when they makes turns. you can feel it in the steering wheel and hear it as well... any ideas?:dunno:

its a 92 legacy auto though. i just thought i'd ask you guys. those subaru people don't really comment. they just look... no help what so ever.... could it be the cv joints?

Just for the heck of it, check and make sure the lug nuts are torqued down.

Is it only when they are turning in one direction? Could be the CV joints and/or CV boots. Legacy's are notorious for them, particularly the earlier ones.

My friends car is dong that same, Everyone tells him its the CV joints, id check em out. If not you at least know that they might be good or bad.

i think it does it when you turn in either direction, only when the car has been sitting over night though. after it warms up, it doesn't do it.

yep...cv joints for sure, my buddy had the same problem, we switched them out...whammo! like new!:)
