Newbie Question

Any other way other than mute/cd eject/dvd eject press to reset iDrive. Mine has been frozen for a few hours. When I start the car, the screen don't show the usual warner about driving and controling the iDrive (where you press 'accept'). The system goes directly to the main screen where none of the buttons work.

I have tried shuting the car off and the button sequence (maybe I'm doing that wrong) and nothing seems to work. Any advice???:dunno:

Wow, a few hours? Has your car been turned off and the key removed?

Also, do you have a phone paired to your car via bluetooth? If so, you may want to turn off the phone and see if your car goes back to normal.
