I'm betting you won't find that combo but good luck. Try over at www.e60.net (http://www.e60.net) as well.

I may be missing something, but weren't you concerned about the ride of the Sport Package? The 19's will definitely ride much rougher than the standard 17's.

i read that it would not affect the ride quality much somwhere on the forums...

Yeah, but the 17's don't look as good as the 19's, especially the 166s :D

I disagree...I had a buddy with a 2001 530i with the Sports Pkg go from 17" to 18" wheels. It was a HUGE difference in ride quality compared to my 2001 530i/Sports Pkg. The steering was much heavier and the ride a lot firmer. But, with the E60, who knows...could be a lot different.

The 19's should weigh a lot more than the 17's, so unsprung weight will go up, slowing the steering, and slowing rebound rates. However, I think the 5er steering is too light anyway, so perhaps that is a good thing.

X,
You sure the picture you posted that the car does not have Sport Package? It looks to me like:

A. He does have sport package with OEM 166 wheels. Remember that in other parts of the world, you can order the Sport Package WITH chrome trim. I have seen a e60 M5 with chrome trim before.

B. He does not have Sport Package, but lowered it and has OEM 166 wheels.

The gap in the picture looks just like mine and I have the Sport Package with 19" OEM 166s.

jiio,

I don't know what it has :dunno: nice to know you can get the chrome trim cuz I actually kinda like it. One thing is certain, he stole your OEM 166 wheels or should I say I "borrowed" them from your pic gallery :D

It's a PS chop. See the Original below:

Hey,
That's a pretty good photoschop job! I shoulda realized you were up to something wit them shifty eyes in your smiley.:stickpoke

But, in any case like Agent99 said it's going to be near impossible to find any e60s w/o the Sport Package and having 166s. And, when you do find one it will have been lowered.
