I have not seen this case before and wondered what type of wax it is, it says Zymol but I have never seen it at our detail and supply store.

That's Zymol Vintage, it runs about $1.5k for a jar of it but they refill it for free for life.

Ooo, it's in Tampa, I might just bid on it.:D

It's one of those fancy schmancy zymol waxes that costs 500 to 1000, maybe more. In other words, it's snake oil for people who have too much money. The ebay picture looks like it's been used up, but I've heard that if you are foolish enough to pay for this stuff they will give you lifetime refills. What a deal.

wow!!! 500 - 1000 dollars, what does the stuff shine like glass ,deflect all UV rays and last for 5 years on one application ? I guess it would be a great marketing ploy for a store that details to offer this especially of it is a 1 time purchase with refills for free.

...if they stay in business for life. :p

Since it's "Vintage," do they stamp the vintage date on the label, like fancy wine? ;) Are some years better than others? ok, I'll stop

Actually they are aged to some extent (about 2 years usually), different years can be better than others but they all tend to be the same thing.

Yeah, it does all that and it's a dessert topping too! ;)

Zymol has been around forever, I doubt they're going out of business anytime soon. RE: their boutique waxes; the prices are insane, but they are very nice waxes; look great, awesome durabilty, super easy to use, and lifetime refills. That said you get way better bang for your buck elsewhere.

Not sure who is aware of it yet, but Zymol was bought out by Turtle Wax. And Turtle Wax is owned by Shell Oil Co. Maybe Turtle Wax won't mess with the original Zymol formula but my experience has showed me that every time a product is bought out by another company, the quality eventually changes in the name of making more profit. As for paying $250-500 for a wax, thanks but I will pass. Shell gets enough money from me at the gas pump. I will stick with Zaino, Meguiar's or Mothers Products. They are all still independent owned companies.
