Anyone tried tinting the sun roof on their Coupe? I thought about getting the sun roof cover from leatherZ, then thought tinting it might be a cleaner solution.
BTW, got the CDV removed and replaced the rubber sub frame mount with poly from IE. Coupe feels like a totally different car now. If I had known it would make such a dramatic difference, I would have gotten them done a year ago.
I would also be curious about tinting the sunroof (that summer sun is blazing here in Texas). I would assume you would remove the glass and take it to a tint shop and have them put the darkest limo tint on it. Or they could probably do it while its still in the car too. But I'm just guessing.

I tinted my sunroof with some dark static cling material and it has been just right - not cutting out all the light but enough that it isn't to hot on the head.
p.s. have a LZ shade if you would like one

I had my '00 tinted. It works, but you can't see out of it.
Went with the shade on the '01.

I decided to get my sun roof, and rest of the windows tinted. So far I'm quite pleased with the results. I got the lightest ceramic tint on the side, back, & rear windows (reflect 40% of heat), and darkest ceramic tint on the sun roof (reflect 65% of heat). Cabin is noticably cooler now.

i had the same thing done on my car, huper optic tint. I also got the front windshield done in an almost completely transparent tint that keeps alot of the heat out. The sunroof also has the darkest huper optic tint, but it still let's a bit of heat in.
