Hi,
The Power steering oil in my E39, 5 series 525TDS is well below the minimum mark. Only a small ammount I can see in the chamber. The Manual says "Please enlist the aid of the BMW mafia service if oil has to be added, as only ATF is to be added and specialist knowledge is needed to add the oil correctly" I know that the ATF is automaitic transmission fluid. Can somebody who done anything with this tell me what needs to be done exactly.
