Engine conversion for my 1602

Hi there i have a 1972 bmw 1602 which i am converting to run a mid eighties 2.0 6 cylinder engine.

Just wondering if anyone else has done a similar conversion, and if so some pics or advice

The last 6-cyl 2002 I saw was Roy Hopkins' 2.7l race car. The engine sits back enough so that there is no heater blower or heater core. The extra weight really unbalances the car and I'm not sure he would do this again. Maybe an "M2" is a better solution, if not cheaper.
