Could someone please figure this one out? And please, save the ranting about "but it saves lives" crap. It is annoying, and we are all big boys and girls here. Not all of us need a reminder. I am offering a reward to the first person that can tell me how to do this without telling me to shove a buckle in the slot. I want a genuine fix to this, I want to turn it off. Thanks!!

I wonder which fuse, and I also wonder if it will affect anything else. Good suggestion, have you tried it?

try doing a search , :google: BMW X5 Fuse box, or look in your owners manual? There's probably a wire you can cut if you want to do permanent damage, but if you live in an inspection stingy state, like ME, that is probably a bad and costly idea...
