Hitting the track for my first outting next month in the M3.

However the tires are can't decide on. The fronts are ES100's with lots of tread, and the rears are Nanking Sport somethings, also with lots of tread, but are rated H, and are M+S.

I may or may not be keeping the car long-term so putting more $ into it is a major factor (thus no PS2's, and no replacing all 4 tires).

So what would be preferable for a track day?
Adding matching ES100's to the rear. Or ECSTA SPT's-(or something in a similar price range- the cheaper the better) in a tread over @ bf.c people were not to high on the yoko's, and said not to put more $ into them (btw they came with the car). But would not a matching set of tires perform better on the track than good rear tires and average fronts?

Thanks.

(or if anyone wants to save me $, how bad a decision would it be to run with the tires that are on it now?)

Don't buy the ES100's. They get VERY noisy after a while.
