turtle wax Ice?

hey everyone,

im new to the detailing world, the other cars i have owned have been drive in car wash vehicles. Now that i have my e36, i wants to learn more about detailing.

anyways my question is....Ive seen this "turtle wax ICE", just wondering what you guys think of it, if its really good enough to just wash the car and spray this on, and it lasting.

also...when i purchased my car i got a "diamond kote"...or "pro-pack" as the dealer called it on the car. Do you know how long this lasts? and if its still necessary to wax...it looks good now...but for the future

Never heard of Turtle Wax Ice. :dunno:

Sorry to tell you after the fact. Buying any dealer packs such a paint sealant, or whatever the dealer wants to call it, is a big waste of money. All you got is a nice wax job. You will need a complete wax/detail job in 6 months.

i think ICE is just another wax, like NTX. from what i heard, those don't last long like sealant, like Zaino.

TurtleWax is garbage... Go with meguiars...

This is the same wax that allot of dealerships use...it has a ton of fillers in it so that you hide the swirls...its also got a lot of oils / polymers in it to give a quick shine...its alot like quick detailer spray...its not a bad product but there are tons better for your car
