passenger door lock not working from drivers door

Hi,
Can any body help me the passenger central locking is not working, it locks on its own but not via the drivers door, I believe it may be the actautor but I cannot locate it? unless it is part of the door lock itself. Plesae can somebody confirm if I have to remove all the door lock to get at it?
