I got some small problems with my car. I don't know how to set the time in my car. When i bought my car about 7 years ago, it didn't come with the manual, so can someone please help me with that problem? :) Another problem that i have is when i turn on the interior lights at night, the radio keys don't light up. Also this isn't really a problem but when I start up the car i don't hear that greeting sound that a car usually makes when you start the car or when you open the door while the key is in the ignition. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

do a search here on the forums for "owner's manual". someone posted a link to the owner's manual for a 97 318 that might help you set your clock.

When I start the car, i don't hear that greeting bell. Could this happen because of age of the car, and is there a simple way to fix it? Its not really a problem, I miss that greeting bell when i start the car or open the driver side door. About the Radio keys not lighting up, will a another used but excellent condtion radio off ebay solve that problem? I know my car isn't new and interior fuses will go out but seeing how the car still drives and looks, i want to keep at its best. I just spend close to $6000 at my local BMW dealer bringing back to shape after storing it for a long period of time with no attention given to it for close to three years. I was expecting other components to go out while I was driving the car regularly, so far i have replaced the Aux Fan, thermostat, and A/C condenser and Recharge of the system after the big recondtioning process. Those things alone cost me
$1000. Now the service manager at my local dealership has become a good friend of mine, so small jobs and gives me a discount off other things. :)
