Fronts will fit, rears will not. You need 4 fronts.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe these are E46 wheels on my car. I've never had any problems with the fit.

The wheels will fit. I already had these on the car when I bought it, but I have read you you need all front wheels.

This is the correct answer. Call tire-rack if you need another opinion.

I think 18's give a ride quality that you won't like for very long....unless you are fine with a bumpy ride :)

Nope...don't know what those are. An E46 M3 would have 19" wheels and no way you'll get those on a ti, front or rear. I believe what's being talked about here are the ZHP wheels, which are 18" and the fronts should fit any E36.

all posted E46 M3 rims above are copies of the actual E46 M3 rims
they are available in australia from 17"-19" to suit e36's i dont know where to get them in other countries but here they are sold by TEMPE.
4 e46 m3 FRONT wheels will fit. the rears will not, wrong offset and too wide.
i would suggest buying replicas they look great and cost alot less.
anybody that complains about 18/40/225 tyre combo is either too old and overly concerned about ride comfort
or
they should invest in a high quality set of coilovers for the front and stiffer dampers for the rear. it makes a huge difference;)

Thanks Siknis,
now I have a better idea where the wheels on my car might have come from. I did suspect they were copies as I found out that origional M3 wheels are 19 inches - mine are 18 inches.
At least I now also know what they are worth. I wonder who in Melbourne is selling them?
The wheels look great and seem very well made. I had a very close look at an M3 with a set of 19 inch wheels - they looked the same as my copies as far as I could tell.
By the way, how do you attach a larger image?

really original m3 rims are 19" ? but the first models of the e46 m3s that are sold in the USA were 18 inches front and rear wheels. correct me if im wrong though

There are both 18" and 19" OEM E46 M3 wheels. 19" wheels were an option introduced.

18" stock E46 M3 wheels will fit E36 M3 in front, rears require 1/2" spacers. You do not need to have 4 fronts
